Two were ridiculously low and the other three were within $500 of each other. I choose The Roofing Factory on a recommendation from a friend. In addition, Chris was willing to work with me, was open to all my suggestions, explained everything to me and was hands on. I choose a shingle that they do not normally use and they had no problem accommodating my request. They could not complete my roof last fall because of weather delays and scheduled it for spring 2024. In March we arranged a start date and they informed me that there would be a price increase in materials in a few weeks. I prepaid for the materials and saved 10%. All materials were delivered 2 days before start up and the trash bin arrived on the start date. Their operation is very well organized. The company is owned by three guys and all of them are involved in all aspects of the company. Chris and Curtis were on the roof installing and Charlie looked after all the logistics. They had three to four employees assisting them as required. Everyone was respectful, courteous and skilled at their job. Every day Chris posted pictures so I could see the progress and their workmanship. They did the roof in sections and it was always covered with underlay or underlay and shingles at the end of each day. They also installed additional protection (ice and water shield) around all vents and the chimney which is above and beyond in my opinion. Chris suggested installing colour matched flashings at the wall base and this was much nicer looking than the original tin.
